History of Bageshwar Dham 

The Chandel period Bageshwar Balaji Dham was renovated in 1986, and after receiving initiation from the Nirmohi Akhara in Chitrakoot, the scholar Param Pujya Shri Setulal Ji Maharaj of village Gadha received inspiration from Balaji in the year 1987. 

The history of this Dham dates back approximately 300 years. They began providing service to this heavenly dwelling through Sanyasi Baba’s grace, who was present in the shape of saints, and priests.
